Did you know ...

The Hugh has just broke the bed! No
really is not a joke, but here we were in the room and wanted to do a blog post together, me in front of the computer and he lay on his bed to tell me, write to the crown, of Silvio writing, writing in London ... at some point an idea ... Title: Did you know ...
not over yet, there are doubts about what? where? when? but at some point "SPATAPAM" There was Hugh in his bed completely broken legs to walk, and say that was stopped. Well, a laugh but a laugh, I mean a bed so ever I saw it, was in fact made of cardboard and wood shavings, which sold like anything.
Here is what to write, did you know that ... Ugo broke the bed .
cleverly we immediately replaced the bed with a broken sound from the room above, what should be hired soon, but alas, I doubt anyone will see it in those conditions, a broken bed and a blanket in less (we're at the appropriate as well).
Below pictures of the bed broken and the new (new to say, it is strategic and low-nn bodes well).

a salutone from London!

What To Write In Wedding Quest Book

The seaside holidays in the Marches, Gabicce and Senigallia

traveling from north Italy to the south, along the Adriatic coast, just across Cattolica Gabicce Mare enter immediately . So for our beach holiday in the Marche region, destination of the trip. From here to Pesaro, everything looks the same to the Adriatic coast: the view is the same and the location of the stroke resemble those of Rimini, just passed: square neighborhoods full of houses and buildings, locked between the hills and gardens of earth beneath a row of hotels facing the sea. The beaches with fine golden sand, show a similarly large shoreline that stretches, placid water of the 'Adriatic.
The dialect in Pesaro, is almost typical of Romagna with "Z" becomes "they" and "them" drag. It does not seem to stay in the Marche. Here, however, begins a coastline that stretches for 180 km, to San Benedetto del Tronto where there is the other "border" with Abruzzo.
Gabicce Mare, is the first town in the Marche coast useful for vacation. Protected by the hill lies the park of San Bartolo, with villas overlooking the sea, the country has a sort of appendix: following an uphill, scenic and winding, it leads to Gabicce Monte, a settlement dating back to 909 , with the ruins of a castle. The real living, however, is down to the marina around a bay surrounded by a wide beach, a village that comes alive in summer. To get in Pesaro you can follow the ancient road that crosses the hill on the cliffs where there are some fishing villages: Casteldimezzo , the medieval of Focara and Santa Marina Alta. The fortress accept, that the myth of Dante's Paolo and Francesca, and very close and should be discovered. After 20 km of road, then, you get to Pesaro, called "the rose of the sea", which was the birthplace of Gioacchino Rossini. The beach is sandy, 8 km long and divided between the west and east from the Great Sphere, a sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The city has a historic core, culminating in the Piazza del Popolo, where the Ducal Palace and the Fountain of the Tritons, at number 34 Via Rossini is the birthplace of the composer, now a museum.
Ardizio On the Hill take the road that leads to internal Fano, after which the landscape, on the coast, lost in the hills and back plate. In the town there is the fishing port, surrounded by pastel-colored houses, the nineteenth-century theater, the Palace the Podesta, the Court Malatesta. Further, between the rivers and Metauro Cesano, rise Towers and Marotta di Fano Mondolfo famous seaside resorts, and after arriving Senigallia. Of Roman origins, known as "the velvet beach", for the fine and soft sand that covers a 13 km stretch of sand interrupted only by the Rotonda a Mare and the port. Senigallia is the most 'popular in the Marche for the holidays. The four circular towers of the fortress Roveresca are a legacy of the Renaissance. Solder in Senigallia, and among them, are Marzocca and Marina di Montemarciano with Mantignano tower on a hill, built to predict the attacks of the Saracens, and then, on the coast, the Mandrocchio, fort 400, and Rocca Priora. So we arrive at Falconara, a prelude to the industrial and maritime capital. Ancona is a concentration of monuments and memories that revolve around the port from which ships set sail for Croatia and Greece. Upon your entering the city we find the Mole Vanvitelliana military building from 1733. And then, un'infilata of pearls: the Teatro delle Muse (1827), Piazza del Plebiscito with the church of San Domenico, which houses paintings by Titian and Guercino, the Arch of Trajan, the Loggia dei Mercanti, the fountain of Tredici Cannelle The church of San Francesco alle Scale with the Assumption of Lorenzo Lotto, and the elegant Cathedral of San Ciriaco, Guasco on the Hill, above the harbor. But the best scenario is offered by the Riviera del Conero, with high walls, barren and wild, rugged coastline, the white seal that maciigni bays and hidden coves. The Monte Conero presents inside a park of about 6 000 hectares of hill covered with pines, oaks, broom, strawberry, lavender and grape vines that give red wine flavored and robust. After Mezzavalle bay, protected by the Scoglio del Trave, here is the beach Portonovo the Napoleonic Fort.

6 ° Holiday 2009: EGYPT

If in so few days to our departure the people you know you are made to cry a good thing we left. And to say that Egypt does not inspired me, I have just changed his mind, was one of the most beautiful holiday made in recent years! Sharm el-Sheikh Naama Bay, the seaside village but also in the heart of this new village created for international tourists, who were almost all Russians by surprise. Party with my friend Andrea, the first day we were alone on the beach and at the table, but to our departure we had extended the table with a dozen friends, including Russian and Italian. It will be our joy, but when we entered the Italians in the dining room welcomed us like no other, in front of those long faces of the Russians, we looked crooked because they treated us with comfort and privilege, but it is obvious that if you receive kindness by kindness, they do not greet no thank you and the counter claim, but we are the opposite and that is why we have always been appreciated and missed you every time you ever tried to call you in the room and making sure we were at dinner and a disco. Already the record, we set a couple of Romans and one of Rimini, we have made a real animation at all, rock out and involving everyone, to the point that the Russians were looking for us and ask us to dance, great.
The last day we will all now on the lips, Russian friends, bartenders and waiters, and the day of departure (with a shot of that ass has been moved the day after) the improbable has happened, the general emotion, never words received so much nice to see people crying for so little time that we know. The promise we made and I will keep is to go back!
A, not only in Egypt ... a new state is waiting for me, alas RUSSIA ... very cool ... I'm coming ...!!!

5 ° Holiday 2009: LONDON, again ...

Well what to say, the past week was fantastic! Host the first day in new home Chicca and later by Paul , in my old house near London Bridge . By day
so much shopping and the best shopping center of the city, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Westfield (to understand that Europe's largest), then stop at the bank Lloyds where I still have the account open and do not last visit to the restaurant Plateau, where the reception was very warm, between the hugs of manager and former colleagues were delighted to see (incidentally how do you not love me ...) and I have found tanned and in great shape ... ma?? Obviously, I have asked to return, but that still does not know.

The next night, in a pub to hear a friend of Paul who was performing his playing and singing parts with many other young emerging again in the film Premiere of George Cloney with a lot of Elisabetta Canalis , Friday, 2 new clubs by try both, but last night was the TOP!
I was invited to a friend's house in Mayfair , (you own them) to a party where you had to dress black and white with a mask. B'è that evening, I enjoyed strategic, had just entered this huge room with fireplace, candles scattered everywhere, music burning of all types, many boys and some couch sitting and standing to dance with glass of wine in hand ... Then I started to know all those people that many of the most frequented Cambridge University, but as the laughing girl ... later than one o'clock I met Paul and other people came, this time Italian, and we enjoyed them even more. Music was a ball and the windows open but nonetheless in the luxurious palaces of the neighbors did not complain before, apparently in Mayfair anything is possible! At about 5.30 am we went out looking for some records them in the area but we have found the first £ 1000 asked to enter, here found the price of living in a wealthy neighborhood! so there are "satisfied" of a club-restaurant where we had breakfast with Inglese breackfast and champagne! holidays by the sea in Marina di Camerota, the pearl of the Cilento

There are many beaches of Marina di Camerota for the holidays. They are called Cala d'Archon, Calanca, Cala del Cefalo, La Vela, Mingardo, the Marina, boats, Lentiscelle, Pozzallo, Bay Infreschi, very different and all beautiful, deserving the name of the locality Perla del Cilento. Many say that the name derives from that of Kamaratòn Camerota, a beautiful woman loved in vain to Palinuro and turned into rock by Aphrodite.
pure invention, however, shows that since ancient times as the people associated with this land beauty on some of the sea, but also of the hills, olive groves that the ridges of Mount Moon extends to the coastline, the timeless grace of gray stone villages. To help make the landscape even special towers, five centuries old, which in Agropoli then follow up the coast Marina di Camerota and twelve are spread over every hill.
Another feature of the area are the caves , if under water are ideal for divers, there emerged among the important paleontological sites, as the Cave of the Cove and the nearby burial caves, where they were found human remains dating to more than half a million years ago. Cala Fortuna there are also a Blue Grotto, not to be confused with those of Palinuro and Capri, and the spectacular Cave of the Cyclops which marks the border between Camerota and Centola.
Until a few decades ago, Marina di Camerota was a fishing village, but today is a popular destination for beach holidays the most popular Southern Italy; many things have changed, but the vessels in the port are still plenty of the European Blue Flag and continues to reward time every year the quality of the environment and services.
The interior has many pleasant surprises, such as Mingardo river gorges, forests of Aleppo pines of Mount Anthony, the ancient olive trees as big as oaks Licusati. Without of course forgetting the villages of High and Lentiscosa Camerota, custodians of the oldest traditions of the "land" Cilento, crafts of pottery and popular cuisine. Visit is also an opportunity to buy meals and expertly decorated earthenware jars (a Camerota still exists a small neighborhood of potters), or enjoy typical dishes such as ciambotta (a kind of ratatouille of fresh vegetables), buttoned aubergines (stuffed with herbs and tomatoes), stuffed with anchovies, figs married with walnuts, sweet or savory donuts. In some restaurants Lentiscosa of the Neapolitan pizza dough is made with five different types of flour and it still serves the maracucciata, namely maracuoccio soup, a tasty little as legume that is grown exclusively in this area, just to remember that Cilento at the table is a realm of biodiversity.
After a seaside holiday Camerota montagna.Solo would not make sense to give up a few kilometers from the hilly villages between Camerota San Giovanni a Piro and Bulgheria cells, whose name refers both to the chapels of the Basilian monks (the cells were actually caves) that a Bulgarian community, which would be allocated in this area before the sixth century, spreading cult still live in Santa Sofia. The country is the best base for hiking Mount Bulgheria, the limestone massif that divides the Valle del Mingardo that of Bussento. From the top view of Capo Palinuro and the Gulf of Policastro is magnificent, and urges them to continue the journey.

Not only seaside holidays in Maremma

Once a land of swamps, patches of grassland and impenetrable paths robbers and cowboys, the Maremma is now an agricultural Wine and prestigious tourist destination for beach holidays and refuge of celebrities. It is divided into Pisana (north of Piombino) and Grosseto (to the south, much larger and better characterized by the specific characteristics of the region). Imprinting Etruscan you still feel strong, is palpable. This is confirmed immediately, leaving the bustling port of Piombino, the quiet bay of Baratti, a few buildings scattered along a cove with a beach and pine trees, around which develops the Etruscan necropolis of Populonia.
coastal villages and towns in the Maremma, are always interspersed with solemn pines, scented by thickets of mastic, juniper and myrtle. An alternative that gives a sense of respect, inspiring a different pace and focus. Follonica , lively town for holidays by the sea, from urban sprawl, appears suddenly in the vast country, rich with farms and crossed the busy strip of asphalt lined dell'Aurelia Old. Abandoned Follonica you proceed back into the pine forest, along Scarborough. The road climbs, offering panoramic views of the Elbe, and then dive back into the national forest, up to Pian d'Alma. From here you return to the beach holidays in Punta Ala , a popular town located at the southern end of the gulf of Follonica. Dotted with luxury residences and hotels, Punta Ala experienced in the late '60s a period of great development, as evidenced by the able and marina villas hidden by the foliage of the pine trees behind the beach and along the steep hills of the uprights. A famous golf course and a magnificent view over the Maremma coast and islands of the Tuscan did the rest. Punta Ala, as well as iperesclusiva Roccamare, was loved by people like Roger Moore and Italo Calvino and the literary duo Fruttero and Lucentini. Here, as in Castiglione della Pescaia , the tone is pretty sporty, solid, with the effort sail is almost a must, although there are some amusing distraction at night. Castiglione, surrounded by a thick curtain of pine trees, is characterized by a port-channel crowded with fishing boats and yachts. On a spur of Petriccio Poggio climbs the medieval village, locked up in a circle of walls strengthened by towers during the rule of Pisa and dominated by the powerful Aragonese Castle, the fourteenth century. Unlike Punta Ala, Castiglione remains alive and year-round, with its small, delicious restaurants, with many shops and clean water. Riva del Sole, near Castiglione, a tourist village run by Scandinavians will immediately transposes into a Nordic mood: blond children, profound respect, privacy ensured and huts of the dark green boards. Near the close Gavorrano, what remains of Castel di Pietra echoes of the tragic story of Pia de 'Tolomei - quoted by Dante in Purgatorio - that here was killed by her husband, the patrician the Sienese in Pannocchieschi. A Galdana, the center of the mining of marble "portasanta," the church of San Biagio surprises for the clear and harmonious Renaissance facade in travertine, conceived in the early '500 by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder. Finally, the village of Vetulonia located where the acropolis was one of the most prosperous and ancient city of Etruria, central and northern Italy, whose splendor tell the Antiquarian, the remains of the walls of the arc and the vast necropolis. From Castiglione arrived in Grosseto for the state of Collacchie, which runs between the large umbrella pines of the Pine Forest in the bolster. The city, which sadly has lost quite a stir in the various modern urban developments around the original center, looks lively and busy.
In Maremma coast from Seaside to Talamone Principina, was established in 1975 the Natural Park of Maremma . Here, some kept carrying on the traditions of indigenous agriculture and farming, ancient forms of dressage and training horses and cattle, not only for beach holidays then. Alberese is the starting point for the two guided tours that can be done in the park. Do not miss a visit to the natural oasis of Uccellina protected area and natural park consists of a long, narrow chain of hills surrounded by the Mediterranean, culminating in Poggio Lecci. The Tower dell'Uccellina and the powerful and the beautiful square that Marseille were silent part of a system of lookouts and defense against predators Islamists linked to the fortresses of Castiglione della Pescaia and enjoyed. Gateway Argentario Orbetello is full of old memories scattered throughout the urban fabric, which was rebuilt after the bombings of World War II. Its location in a strip of land in the middle of the lagoon, linked Argentario by an artificial dam built in 1862, giving it an unmistakable charm. The impressive early medieval fortifications, and further promoted by Siena by the Spaniards in the sixteenth century onwards, are now significant evidence. There remains, also, a kind of fluid and elusive charm, colonial bouquet Hispanic enhanced by one thousand refractions water lagoon and the isolation, by way 'of the citadel, the old country, which is accessed through the Porta Nuova.

The seaside holidays in Ibiza not only dancing

The seaside holidays in Ibiza are famous for their disco nights. The sea is an attraction attractive, but only in view of the evening to get a tan or to relax by after hours. To start noche must go to the port, that is the center of Ibiza town or San Antonio, where tens of Pr trying to grab customers, inviting them to drink in the bar they work for and offering the tickets at lower costs. Council key is to not stop at first but to negotiate with all the first night and then choose the best offer (more chupito ticket price). All clubs have been organized, offering an evening highlight in the middle of the week that you can not miss. Important Notices and newly arrived to pick the right ones. But if you're wrong, there certainly have no regrets: all the rooms are beautifully managed and attended anyway. How To Go Barefoot At School

Beach holidays in Sardinia, Costa Smeralda

The beach vacation in Costa Smeralda, this stretch of coastline between Sardinia and Breed of Cow Smooth Junco, have become a timeless myth known throughout the world. The signing marked the birth of this reality interwoven with unbridled luxury and unparalleled natural wonders dates back to September 29, 1961, the day that a syndicate of businessmen and architects of exception - made up of Giancarlo and Michael Busiri Vici, René Podbielski , Patrick Guinness and, of course, by Prince Ismaili - founded The Consortium is intended to transform the 5,000 acres of wilderness and uninhabited of Gallura in one of the most exclusive resorts in the world after making class seaside holidays. After all, it was easy to imagine the immense economic potential of the tangle of this true paradise on earth
, color palette with endless nuances and depth, perfect theater for villas and resorts freely inspired by the traditional local style, rough and simple, but in reality with comfort reserved for a select audience. Suite of 500 square meters with a swimming pool and private beach, helicopter and limousine service 24 hours on 24, fabulous yacht ready to sail for solitary shores. This is, for forty years, the Costa Emerald for VIPs, attending the local page of Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo, such as the Leeward and Windward Club, the Billionaire and Peper, or The Smaila's. Overwhelmed by the crowds of tourists who annually invade the beaches and the continuous swarm between a creek and the other sailing boats or motor may come to think that all this has distorted the places and atmospheres, but it is not. Nevertheless, the intense perfume of arbutus and rock rose, which hovers everywhere, the magic tint of pink granite rocks shaped by wind, the soft golden sand stretches of the Great Pevero , of Cala di Volpe (pictured above) of Smooth Ruja or and Principe, above all, clear waters that separate the costs from the moorings of beautiful islands Mortorio, murmurs and Rooms, remind everyone, VIP or not, the power of Nature here has played its cards better, creating a landscape of rare beauty to dream of holidays at sea. And
exceeded "boundaries" of the Costa Smeralda, Smooth Cow Breed and Junco fact, the suggestions continue. To the south in the mysterious recesses of the most reserved Capo Figari and Golfo Aranci , down to the Olbia, San Teodoro and Capo Coda Cavallo , where with a little 'luck you may spot herons and flamingos. To the north in ' Archipelago of La Maddalena National Park since 1996 , A labyrinth inscribed between rocks shaped like clay and turquoise waters of twenty-three islands, inhabited or not. Spread, Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria, in addition to the famous Caprera, shelter end of a triumphant but now ill Giuseppe Garibaldi. To see the archipelago as a whole is the ideal viewpoint Capo d'Orso, the Cape west of Palau, recognizable because of its bear-shaped figure with his head bent toward the sea. Here, according to one of several interprefazioni Odyssey, Odysseus would have landed, then accepted by the people of Lestrigoni. Palau, as well as the nearby Santa Teresa di Gallura, today changed its vocation as a fishing port in the resort, offering hotel services and that have nothing to inferior to those of the nearby Costa Smeralda. In particular, Santa Teresa, the most common in the north of Sardinia, still retains the charm of a place rich in history, inhabited since prehistoric times and the result of a superposition of different achievements. Indelible mark of the passage of the Aragonese is, for example, the Tower of Longosardo, one of eighty built by Philip II to defend the coast. About three kilometers from the town stretches out into the sea of \u200b\u200bCapo Testa, an isthmus connected to the mainland by an expanse of rock perpetually tormented by the waves and strong wind. Continuing south, we find then Torre Vignola, at the foot of the promontory of Monte Russu, and Portobello di Gallura, which marks the beginning of Costa Paradiso . The name is a credit to the grace of a stretch of coast that is still little known and visited, it offers sandy beaches and rocky coves of which is not uncommon to find only "masters". The walls of the fortress and the Castelsardo, a charming town founded by the thirteenth century the Genoese Doria family, instead announcing the Gulf dell, another happy concentration of natural and historical wonders. Starting from Porto Torres - A focal point of embarkation Sardinian grain at a time of ancient Rome, then fought the commercial port of Pisa and Genoa, and the last outpost against the attacks of Aragon - whose symbol is the cathedral of San Gavino , built in the eleventh century in Pisa and considered among the most Romanesque representative of the region. Asinara, preceded dall'isoletta Pelosa and his beautiful English tower, you could write a novel, inspired now by moving beauty of the landscape, burnt by the sun, but full of life and color, now by the press that over the past 150 years , saw it become a hospital first, then a prison, and finally a national park since 1986.

The seaside holidays in the Aeolian Islands - Lipari

With their stunning beaches and the beautiful crystal clear waters, the beach holiday to the Aeolian Islands have always been considered a destination for a small slice of heaven on earth. Of volcanic origin, in addition to the great craters, offer wonderful reefs and rocks. Lipari, the capital and also the largest island, is rich in ancient monuments, foremost among them the castle, which divides the Marina Corta (promenade filled with numerous cafes) from Marina Lunga (port). The building, surrounded by walls in Spain, is a mosaic of styles. Natural fortress since the late Neolithic period, has also always been the living heart of the island city's acropolis Greek, Roman and medieval center and English architecture of the period. From it, a steep staircase leading to the baroque Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, with close to the archaeological park, the Palace of the Bishops and the Aeolian Archeological Museum (the exhibition is full of artifacts ranging from prehistory to the Magna Grecia). In our walking holidays at sea the streets of Lipari you can get lost among the many alleys. Here, many shops offer a chance to enjoy typical local culinary specialties, including unsurpassed capers and sun-dried tomatoes. But it is above sea Lipari. To achieve the most beautiful beaches, the ideal is to take one of the buses that leave from Marina Lunga, to arrive at Canneto Porticello pumice quarries, the Roman baths of San Calogero and the headlands where you can see Salina and Vulcano. Be influenced by the beauty of an island that has inspired the love between Rossellini and Bergman (and the ire of Magnani) is something completely natural. Apart from the aforementioned Rossellini (who you just shot "Stromboli, land of God "), have in fact chosen as a set Lipari the Taviani brothers (" Kaos "), Nanni Moretti (" Caro diario ") and Massimo Troisi (Il Postino).

Broadstairs seaside holidays in England in the footsteps of Dickens

probably spent his holidays by the sea while he was writing David Copperfield. Let's talk about Charles Dickens that he would look up for inspiration in the sea framed by the window of the house. Staying in fact in Bleak House, an elegant mansion atop a cliff overlooking the port of Broadstairs. E when walking the streets of the town to meet other writers and artists, and powerful nobles in London quantities. Why in the first half of the nineteenth century, thanks to the relative proximity London (only 130 km), this resort on the island of Thanet, East Kent, had flourished as a resort favored by
best British society. Even Victoria, still princess and future queen, loved to visit Broadstairs to escape the fog in London. The list of illustrious visitors, however, and golden to stay among the writers, from Daniel Defoe to Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Oscar Wilde, Hans Christian Andersen. Today here for the beach holiday will not get more Londoners into steamer or after days of travel on dusty roads. The City takes only two hours by train to meet marinairo in a village that has retained its naive flavor, low houses made of bricks red with wrought iron balconies and wide staircases ( the broad stairs just ) leading to the sea. holidays by the sea in the Adriatic coast not only the most famous nightclubs

holidays by the sea in the Adriatic coastline, nightclubs and of those crazy nights, begins with a silent white lagoon that welcomes people to the sea with an old Emilia sweetness. The Valli di Comacchio, formed over centuries of landslides where the Po to the Adriatic Sea irradiated in a vast delta, is one of the most beautiful water views of the Peninsula and one of the most important wetlands in Europe.
are valleys, that large bodies of brackish water, which are connected to the sea by a series of channels insinuate themselves into the ground in calm lagoons, interrupted by grassy hills and islands. Until the Twenties, when he gave the opening to the drainage, the valley extends for more than 32 thousand hectares, or about twice the actual surface, and the only livelihood for people living in these areas was suspended between land and water fishing. The "men of the valley," the Vallanta, Comacchio left in June to move into huts, huts where people lived and worked until December. They gathered reeds, regulating the entry of water in the lagoons and eels, of course, the queens of the economy of the area. A pristine natural environment of a varied and rich birdlife: Egrets, herons and red, terns, knights of Italy, and even pink flamingos . You can enjoy strolling along the paths of birdwatchers, or on a journey to discover ancient huts. But even with the ferries crossing the delta, cycling or riding on a Delta-Camargue, the French-bred horse Padan Lake Nations.

And nature that characterizes this stretch of coast, protected since 1988 by the institution of Po Delta Park, which stretches from Goro Cervia and includes up to the Grand Mesola Wood, home to deer, the Pineta di San Vitale, valleys and legune, behind beaches surrounded by dense vegetation, such as the Lido fly. It is also part of the coast where there are the shores of Ferrara, or Lidi di Comacchio, including Porto Garibaldi, the best place to stop for a dinner of fish, and further south the beaches of Ravenna, Milano Marittima and the salt of Cervia. A park that also houses important works of art: that the town of Comacchio, built at the turn of thirteen-sun, seems to float in the water up and down the bridges Pomposa Abbey, one of the most sublime examples of Romanesque art Byzantine art in Italy, and then Ravenna, capital of the last great Roman Empire, the kingdom of the Goths and superb Byzantine enclave in Po land. The mosaics of the Mausoleum of Galla Piacidia, and the Neoniano itegli Aryans, Sant'Apollinare Sant'Apollinare in the New Class, the Archbishop's Chapel and the Basilica of San Vitale is the richest heritage of mosaics in the world and the V VI and flank the tomb of Dante and the Mausoleum of Theodoric in a superb artistic career.

Ravenna is a few miles from its shores, vast expanses of white sand preceded by quiet pine woods and overlooking a sea that enchants the wide horizon in shades of pale blue. They are the best place for any kind of sport, or even perfect for divers: off the coast of Ravenna, the wreck of a sunken oil rig Agip more 'than 40 years ago has become a thriving colony of colorful fish. But the fame of the Ravenna coast, especially Marina di Ravenna, it is exciting to nights on the beach. The bathrooms, which turn brown with the in places where dining and dancing until late, have become one of the most trendy Riviera to enjoy the night. They are a must along with Milano Marittima, always the most elegant Adriatic resort: that was already chic in the early '900 when the town of Cervia entrusted to a company in Milan with the task of designing a "garden city", which was to be built in the middle of pine trees as architectural response to the industrial cities: wide avenues, green spaces and elegant houses for the rich Lombard resident who wanted the sea to the contact with nature. And the pine trees are still one of the attractions of Milano Marittima with sophisticated shops, restaurants and local trend. Besides, the quietest Cervia said the bond that exists between the town and salt. The ancient Cervia was born in the middle of the lagoons at the time of the Etruscans who already had been turned into salt. Floated on 800 hectares of brackish water which is produced and still produces the finest rooms in Italy (he was also on the tables of popes), but was, for its location, very unhealthy. At the end of '600 was abandoned to be rebuilt from scratch, as the "ideal city" in a rectangle of land surrounded by the houses of the salt workers, within which there is the great and silent square. Outside the perimeter of the old salt stores are an e-XAMPLE fascinating industrial heritage as well as saline Camillone that still uses the traditional method of harvesting salt. A visit to the salt flats is a fascinating journey through history, but also in a beautiful natural environment, inhabited by a rich bird life, and that can give the most beautiful sunsets on the Riviera.

Beach holidays in Greece lost Spetses

takes two hours by ferry from Athens to the beach holidays in Spetses, Greece in a lost in time. We embarked at Piraeus, leaving behind the chaos of the Greek capital and landed on the island of Spetses, 23 square kilometers, where cars are banned and the tourists turn a mule or horse-drawn carriages, and the houses are in stone or pastel shades. All thanks to an oath. A hundred years ago, such a Sotirios Anargyros bought a good chunk of the island where he was born: no one could know, but they put the foundation for the fate of Spetses. Sotirios sprinkle the Aleppo pine and paved roads. On his deathbed, finally, decided to donate his property to the people in exchange for a promise not cemented never land. The people here are speech and knows how to keep commitments. So there is no trace of cement in the island since the nineteenth century that has taken the high society of Athens, and that in the sixties and seventies was the landing place for artists and bohemians (as the singer Demis Roussos) and tycoons like Ari Onassis and Stavros Niarchos, who owned the nearby island of Spetsopoula
for its beach holidays. Instead you'll find Venetian architecture in stone ocher villas, milk-white mosaic courtyards, small Orthodox churches, cascades of bougainvillea. Greece's most elegant, indeed. And the beaches? To the north coasts are mostly covered with stones to the south, carpets of golden sand. Aghia Anargyri, ten miles west of the city, is loved by foreigners and the Athenians coming for the weekend. Aghia Paraskevi. a couple of miles later, the glass has water, fine sand and the smell of resin of a pine forest that reaches the mare.Il most beautiful resorts for beach holidays to Spetses is the former home of the Orloff breed of captains as befits the place (this is an island of ship owners) that the mid-nineteenth century they built the Old Mansion, a stately building a stone's throw from the Old Port. Four years ago, Christos, a descendant, inherits an olive grove near the family estate and decided to build a small, charming hotel, whose name is the Orloff Resort.
If you decide to do beach holidays in Spetses in September you can attend an event that attracts many Athenians. Army Festival. It commemota the naval battle of Spetses (September 8, 1822) in which the Greek fleet defeated the Turkish. Fireworks, art exhibitions, concerts, exhibitions sirtaki.

Beach holidays unusual, the island of Sylt in the North Sea

Beach holidays isnolite those in the 'island of Sylt in the North Sea in Germany, connected to the mainland by a bridge of Hindenburg that runs for eleven miles. At the end she is, with its 99 km square. And 'the island's largest and most northerly of the German North Sea, close and accessible, fair and feasible, but still not snobby enough to "blend" the continent. They say here in the northernmost point of Germany (it's all 'tip height over' the south 's Alaska), the air sharp and clean and then slipped into the lungs to the brain to make him go up by a youth that has no equal . It gives the carbonation of champagne. Not surprisingly, this strip of land that stretches for about forty kilometers of the North Frisian archipelago, is called by some the Capri of the North. At Sylt, however, the mundane has been performed recently, since the second half of the nineteenth century, when the German elite (but not only) came to unwind in the ancestors of the current structures thalassotherapy spa, which already existed in large numbers. Since then the island has not changed much, thanks to environmental protection and the choice of maintaining the traditional buildings of brick, with pitched roofs made of woven cane. The vacationers to enjoy seaside holidays coming all year round (the Gulf Stream makes the climate mild year-round), but especially in summer when the sun goes down almost to the horizon and back up shortly after midnight, a fire of the red sand. On the beaches you spend long days relaxing, resting comfortably in strandkoerbes. the wicker chairs designed to help protect from the wind and embrace those who want to give almost lazily in the sun. But it is also the best time to explore the island on horseback or by bicycle along the many paths. And after the lunches on trips or in the bank, you can dine outside in the restaurants on the sea. The wind was strong and tight Sylt is also a popular destination for surfers and windsurfers from around the world.
